Stronger than the Storm

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) affects millions of people of all ages, including veterans, first responders, and survivors of trauma. June is PTSD Awareness Month—a time to educate, support, and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

By learning more about PTSD and encouraging open conversations, we can help those affected feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, our community can make a difference.

PTSD Awareness Walk – June 27 | 8:00–10:30 a.m.

Join us at the McPherson Complex for a 2.2-mile walk on June 27 in recognition of PTSD Awareness Month and in support of those affected by post-traumatic stress.

This community event is a chance to raise awareness, show solidarity, and promote healing for individuals and families impacted by trauma. Let’s walk together to make a difference.
