NOTICE: Departments using online systems for permitting, payments, inspections, and contractor services, including Building Safety, Code Enforcement, the County Engineer, and 911 Management, will have limited onsite services and no online access during scheduled system updates.

Services go offline for Building Safety and Code Enforcement on Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. and for all other departments on Nov. 6 at 5 p.m.

TRIM Notice Information 

In July, the county commission voted to keep the maximum millage rate that funds county government at 4.29 mills for the fourth consecutive year. This means that the final millage rate will not be any higher than 4.29 mills.

However, please keep in mind that the information on your TRIM notice is only a proposal at this time and has not been finalized. Final decisions will be made by the county commission during the September public hearings at the McPherson Governmental Campus auditorium, 601 SE 25th Ave., Ocala, FL 34471.

These meetings are held on the following dates/times:

  • Thursday, Sept. 4 at 5:50 p.m. (Rainbow Lakes Estates budget first public hearing)
  • Thursday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. (countywide budget first public hearing)
  • Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m. (Public hearing to establish non-ad valorem assessment rates for Fire Rescue, Solid Waste, & stormwater services)
  • Monday, Sept. 22 at 5:50 p.m. (Rainbow Lakes Estates budget final public hearing)
  • Monday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. (countywide budget final public hearing)
