"Interning with Marion County’s Growth Services Department was a great opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and gain real-world experience. I developed technical GIS skills and attended planning and zoning meetings, where I saw firsthand how this field positively impacts the community. This experience not only enhanced my skill set but also deepened my understanding of the value of this career.”
