Land Development Code
The Marion County Land Development Code (LDC) establishes the regulations & standards that guide growth & development within Marion County. It serves as the primary tool for implementing the county’s comprehensive plan & ensuring that development is consistent, safe, & sustainable.
The LDC includes requirements related to zoning, land use, subdivision design, environmental protection, infrastructure, & development procedures. Property owners, developers, & residents can use the LDC to understand applicable standards & review processes for development projects.
