NOTICE OF ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR VACANCIES ON VOLUNTEER ADVISORY BOARDS

The Marion County Board of County Commissioners currently has vacancies on the following volunteer boards:

1.         Rainbow Lakes Estates MSD Advisory Council
(2 Member Terms Expiring November 30, 2014)
Applicants must be registered electors residing within the Rainbow Lakes Estates Municipal Service District.  Members serve 4 year terms.
Responsibilities:  May participate in preparation of annual budget request; review and comment on programs, activities, goals and objectives and make recommendations on these and other issues as directed by the Board of County Commissioners.

Applications for said vacancies may be obtained at the Marion County Board of County Commissioners’ Office located at 601 S.E. 25th Ave., Ocala, Florida; online at www.marioncountyfl.org or by calling 352-438-2323.

The deadline for receiving applications is November 7, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.  The Marion County Board of County Commissioners plans to appoint members on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 or as soon thereafter as possible.
