BACKGROUND:
Marion County seeks to execute contracts with a minimum of two (2) suppliers for its PVC Parts and Pipe Supplies. Suppliers will be prequalified through this RFQ process. At the request of Marion County Utilities Department, Marion County Procurement and/or the using department will solicit quotes from the prequalified supplier(s) for future quarterly or emergency orders. The agency is responsible for providing all required information in order to be evaluated under Part 4. Failure to provide this information may result in a score of zero (non-responsive) for respective categories.
TERM:
The contract shall become effective June 4, 2015 or upon Board approval (whichever is later), and shall be valid through June 30, 2016. Pending successful performance and evaluation by the department(s), and mutual agreement, four (4) additional one (1) year renewal options are available under the contract. The contract shall not extend beyond June 30, 2020.
PREQUALIFICATION:
To be considered a prequalified supplier under this RFQ, the firm must comply with all terms and conditions as specified herein. Qualification criteria will include the ability to provide all listed commodities in Table 1, delivery time, location requirements, and ability and willingness to accept the County's Visa purchasing card (p-card).
ABILITY TO SUPPLY PRODUCTS AS INDICATED ON TABLE 1:
Indicate below that your firm can provide indicated parts and supplies. Most items will be expected to be delivered within 2 days ARO. Most items will be expected to be normally and routinely stocked in the event of a walk-in/emergency purchase.
