To reduce the contamination of our aquifer and waterways, Marion County is implementing a septic-to-sewer conversion program. This program will help keep septic tanks from polluting our water table and the springs that make Marion County such a picturesque place to live, as well as offering several additional benefits to our citizens. Penny Sales Tax
The renewed sales tax will generate an estimated $196 million in revenue. This will fund even more public safety & infrastructure improvements. As our community grows, roads need to grow to accommodate additional traffic. Public safety departments will build new facilities & purchase more public safety vehicles & equipment.
